Making tails wag this holiday season–ways you can give back

It's early December, that time when the air's crisp, the lights are twinklin', and our hearts are full of gratitude for the furry friends who make every day a little brighter. At Miss Nelly’s, we believe thankful pups deserve thankful people, so here's five simple ways to spread some kindness and give back—because a waggin' tail is the best reminder that love comes in all shapes and sizes.

First off, donate to a local shelter in your pup's name. Grab a bag of our USA-made jerky treats or some cozy blankets, and drop 'em off at your nearest rescue. It's like sharin' a piece of your family's warmth with pups who are waitin' for their forever home. Last year, we at Miss Nelly’s were lucky enough to support our several rescues, and seein' those happy faces made the season even sweeter.

Second, volunteer for a doggy walk-a-thon or community clean-up. Bundle up, leash your pup, and join a group stroll that raises funds for animal welfare. It's a fine way to get some fresh air, meet like-minded folks, and let your dog sniff out new adventures—all while doin' good for the world around us.

Third, host a “Paw-ty” with a purpose. Invite a few neighbors and their dogs over for treats and playtime, and ask everyone to bring a donation for a pet charity.
