Caring for your dog’s teeth is as important as other preventative care, and will keep your pet from developing related health conditions.
Brushing your dog’s teeth regularly is key to their oral health.
You can save money and trips to the store by making your own homemade dog toothpaste, with just a few ingredients you may already have on hand
Brushing our puppy family's teeth as a regular part of their care can keep them from developing many different conditions that are detrimental to their health. Here is one of many homemade toothpaste recipes:
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cube of beef bouillon
1 teaspoon dried or fresh parsley
1 teaspoon water
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly in a small bowl, adding a bit more water if necessary, to make a paste.
Store in an airtight container.
It's best to start this habit when your pups are little so they can get used to you messing around with their mouths.
HAPPY BRUSHING!!!
